When is ringer coming back

We demanded a second season of Too Hot to Handle. We saw Zooey Deschanel and Michael Bolton host a Dating Game reboot , and we beseeched our television overlords for more—more unquestionably ill-advised declarations of love, more why-would-you-do-this.

And now, Netflix unleashed Sexy Beasts , which outfits a singleton and three prospective suitors with monstrous latex masks and sends them on dates. Characters lie, cheat, and steal; they scheme and scam; they love and lose; they somehow live. Baker : In putting together a much-anticipated reboot of The Baby-Sitters Club , the creative forces behind the series drew upon their very specific memories of place and time, reaching way back into that wooziness of the back seat while still driving forward.

What distinguishes the Netflix series is the way in which the show stays true to its increasingly long-ago source material while still rooting itself firmly in the present, using nostalgia as a foundation rather than a roof. The Baby-Sitters Club books may be of my generation, but its latest iteration feels designed to speak for, and to, a new wave of fans.

You is, if nothing else, a cautionary tale about the perils of not keeping your social media channels set to private. Jason Concepcion : Succession is well-shot and has firecracker dialogue and a talented cast that is easy on the eyes.

Nayman : [Denis] Villeneuve and his cinematographer Greig Fraser produce something weirdly timeless, all long horizon lines and cavernous rooms bisected by massive, sculptural shafts of natural light. Glimpsed at home in their massive palace compound, the Atreides occupy their own hushed, insular world. Chin : This anthology series provides a unique Japanese perspective on the Star Wars universe that feels both fresh and familiar.

Ryan Hunn : Much like Senna , Schumacher provides an intimate glimpse into a legend of a sport that for so long has felt exclusive and inaccessible.

It was a great pilot, expect one very poor green room scene but that's a minor glitch. As I started to watch more episodes, I began to fall in love with the show even more. Everything about it is just awesome. The music, the characters, the plot - everything. Sarah Michelle Gellar is an amazing actress and so are the rest of the brilliant cast. If you're into thriller type stuff with some drama and romance then this is definitely for you.

It's a great show with some real jaw dropping moments. Its' not too intense but enough to keep you wondering what the hell is going on. Give it a chance. You'll love it. FAQ 5. What songs were featured on the show? Details Edit. Release date September 13, United States. United States.

What is the Spanish language plot outline for Ringer ? But Bridget almost accidentally ends up in a position where she can steal her sister's life - her husband, her house, her stepdaughter, her lover. Soon it turns out that Siobhan's outwardly picture-perfect life had a couple of hardships, too, and they're all thrust on Bridget's less-than-capable shoulders.

The premise is endlessly entertaining with all its possibilities of delicious misunderstandings and embarrassing situations. The show takes a turn into thriller territory and has a lot of suspense, cliffhangers and surprises.

It also has its faults. It treats its viewers as morons by having endless pointless flashbacks that irritatingly remind us of something that everybody remembers, and the anticlimactic ending ruins the build-up. Still, it was a lot of fun to watch and anticipate future episodes. I have seen about a dozen episodes now. By now I can say a few things about this show with utter surety.

The most notable one to me is that the authors have never been to Narcotics Anonymous and it shows, badly. I have spent enough time in AA meetings to know that. The worst part is their notion of a "sponsor. Yet this happens not once but twice. They use it as a convenience but it hurts to watch.

This sloppy writing carries onto other areas and will kill the show. Not even having Buffy and Richard Alpert from Lost is the detective after her can save it. Not looking good. Neither the pilot nor the lead was very attractive. Was looking forward to seeing gellar again but she has not aged well. Sad to see that girlish face grown old without a hint of maturity or character to soften the blow. The cgi looked worse. The story was pedestrian as were the performances. Something that looks this shopworn starting out is in deep trouble.

They may dig themselves out of it but looks unlikely. Wish them well. Thank you. It is on The CW Seed. Never knew this show existed. I'm about 8 episodes in and I can't believe the ended this show after one season. Not only is it a pretty good show it has a few good actresses and actors in it. I really am shocked it was cancelled after season one.

I would of never known it existed had there not been a CW Seed. I was surprised Secret Circle was cancelled as well after first season but I'm really shocked Ringer was cancelled. I'm going to finish it but it sucks knowing it's over with after I watch season one. It's really a good show. I love Sarah Michelle Geller and I was very excited to see this new show. I thought the show started off just fantastic.

I was really hooked especially during the uncertain time when Bridget was learning what Siob was into, but while the writers had a chance to make this a show about real intrigue they completely dropped the ball and in their sheer IDIOCY they made Siob the villain.

Well, like many viewers, I just turned it off. It is ashame because this show had such a chance to really pull in viewers if the writers had made Siob a spy or into selling drugs and she had been taken out by drug lords or Chinese Spys and now what they were going after Bridgett who they thought was Siob.

It could have been like the X-Files with the smoking man in the shadows hunting Bridget who had to figure it all out. MajorFilmFan 28 September This is the story of two sisters who share the same face. The first is Bridget Kelly Sarah Michelle Geller , a former stripper and drug addict, who is the only witness to a brutal murder committed by a brutal crime boss.

When she gets in invitation from her twin sister, Siobhan also played by Geller , to come stay with her in New York for as long as she wants, she sees it as her only way out. Siobhan and Bridget had a falling out several years earlier, and haven't spoken since. But, when Siobhan kills herself while the two sisters are out on a boat off the Hamptons, Bridget sees an opportunity to get away from the trouble she's in.

She assumes the role of Siobhan, believing that her life is perfect. But, everyone has secrets, and Siobhan is no different. I did NOT spell that right. OK, that guy from Fantastic 4. She soon realizes that not only is her relationship with Andrew is going down hill, but that Siobhan is also having an affair with Henry, the husband of her best friend, and soon, discovers that someone is out to kill Siobhan.

While the duologue is at times cringe-worthy, it's the intriguing characters, and the fantastic performances from Geller and Nestor Carbonell, who plays an FBI agent, that make this show as good as it is. This show is a must watch. Thomasdinnegan75 16 June I have to say, that out of any other TV series I've every followed, Ringer is absolutely the most mysterious and entertaining series I've seen, its the type of series where after you watch an episode, you just can't wait until you see the next one, I often found it difficult to wait a week to watch the next one on sky living and went online to watch the next episode, it will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout every episode, that much I guarantee.

The plot, the acting, the choice of actors, everything is amazing, except, maybe it is just me, but throughout the series, i found the episodes and everything all jumbled, and I found it difficult at times to understand, however everything added up in the end, with some unbelievable twists in between! Maybe the writing and layout of the episodes could have improved, however it is still an amazing series.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is wonderful in Ringer, an amazing actress who really deserves a lot more roles in my opinion, when I saw she was doing a series on Sky Living, I thought, what has her career come to? Zoey Deutch is also a very bright and upcoming actress in my opinion and I expect her to be the next Miley Cyrus, from Disney to big movies, and its what she deserves, her performance in this series, is nothing short of breath taking in my opinion and I think she adds to this series massively, and for me, was the best actor in the series behind Gellar, utterly amazing.

Anyway, I would defiantly recommend this series to everyone! I was truly looking forward to a Sarah Michelle Gellar vehicle because I was a big Buffy fan but I've been having problems "getting into" this show. Actually, I wish she would consider doing some made-for-TV movies. I read that she has difficulty choosing projects because she seeks out characters that are unique or eccentric in some way which is smart but there are some made-for-TV movies and characters that are unique and interesting and I gotta assume she's been offered some of them.

I don't understand why she hasn't done more of that since Buffy. Basically, Ringer is about twin sisters both played by Gellar , one Bridget who is being pursued by some underworld drug dealer who wants her dead and the other Siobhan who is in an unhappy marriage with a wealthy man.

Siobhan fakes her death on a boat with Bridget and Bridget decides to assume Siobhan's life in order to hide from Bodaway the drug dealer. What ensues is a hodgepodge of deceits, betrayals, lies and twists that various characters participate in. It seems like almost every single character on the show is deceitful and self absorbed in one way or another.

This is one of the main things that bothers me about the show. True, there are many more successful shows out there with similar characterization of lies and deceit Lost comes to mind but those shows are successful because the characters while being this way are also lovable or warm in some way that the audience can empathize and care about what happens to them.

There's just something cold and calculating about all the characters on this show which makes it difficult to connect with them. Bridget is the only character that is marginally likable and even though I have been watching every episode for this season, I still haven't felt that connection with the characters yet.

Another problem I have with the show is the constant twists and turns. Not that I don't like twists and turns but it's feeling more and more like the twists are the only thing the writers are trying to use to keep you watching. It's just that they have thrown so many in that the show has become inundated with them until it has become too predictable and distracting from what should be the heart of the story lines--the people whom I cannot find anything to truly care about with any of them.

I do intend to watch to the end of the season just to see how it all finally plays out and hope that it doesn't get bumped before the last few eps air but even if it were to run into another season which with the ratings it's not looking so good I wouldn't be back to see it. Just awful, I don't recommend, don't waste your time, just one word can describe and the word is awful, pure garbage. The pilot was not real good, but intruing enough to keep me watching.

The first few episodes where ok, still funny when she is trying to fit into sobians live, then it just goes downhill and going nowhere fast. I realy tried, but gave up at episode The bad acting just becomes too annoying. When brigit is thinking she pulls that cartoon like scooby-doo-face. Most characters are like pizza-boxes or something. So one-sided characters. There is no chemistry. This show feels like a 90 soap. The plot. Nice start, then it just gets sooo going nowhere.

First predictable, then overcomplicated and unbelievable. All women in this show seem to be lying, manipulative and unproductive, and all men seem gullible neanderthales, working for whichever woman has him on a leash. With 1 or 2 exceptions.

Annoying movie mistakes. A heroin addict is going cold turkey, but sleeps like a baby, yeah sure. Both sob and brigit call loverboy. But he does not see on his phone that those are 2 different numbers? Brigit just looks into someones phone, like there is no such thing as a lockscreen. B is being realy lucky in guessing laptop passwords. None of the lovers notice the scar is missing on b's wrist? I got bored and annoyed with the show. Nuf said. GoddessCeCe 2 October It's been too long since the very beautiful and talented Sarah Michelle Gellar has graced our television screen.

She is back now, better than ever, in this very complex, wonderfully dark new show. Bridget is the estranged twin who has a history of stripping and substance abuse, who is the witness to a brutal crime that has her fearing for her life.
