However, during this process, the Autobots sent waves of Protectobots against Grindor in an attempt to save the boy, but they failed.

While Grindor secured their position by deploying Combaticon and Constructicon drones around the town, Bumblebee arrived to rescue Sam.

Assisted by his drones, the Decepticon almost overwhelmed the plucky little Autobot, but in the end Bumblebee reduced Grindor and his unit into scrap metal. This character article is a stub and is missing information on their video game appearances.

He then captured Sam Witwicky where Megatron who was recently resurrected thanks to the shard successfully interrogated him and got the location of the Sun Harvester, leading to a victory for the tyrannical Decepticons.

Grindor has a minor role in the Autobot campaign and a mid-way boss where Bumblebee is forced to fight him with a boss. Grindor demands Bumblebee to give him the insect. Instead of that, Bumblebee gives the heavily armed Decepticon a shower of hand-fired missiles which weakens and finally kills him for good. Grinder was implied to have been part of the Decepticon Heavy Brigade, and was partnered with Oil Slick millions of years ago.
